CDC’s Director, Senior Speech Therapist or Occupational Therapist will conduct an initial consultation, which aims at discussing parental concerns, providing recommendations, and determining the best support for the child. *Multi-Disciplinary Consultations are also available based on family preferences and child's needs.

Initial consultation may be focused on behavioral issues, educational or developmental concerns, speech and language concerns, feeding issues, and occupational therapy concerns (e.g., sensory processing or handwriting). Depending on parental concerns, the consultation will be booked with the clinician specializing in the respective areas.

Consultations do not include a report and recommendations are based on the clinical observation of the child and the parent interview. No standardized tests are administered (only screening tools are used).

All assessments include a report and involve the use of standardized tests such as CELF, PLS-5, SSI-4, SRS (depending on the assessment).

Training for parents and caregivers with a Behavior Analyst, an OT or a Speech Therapist. Parent coaching may focus on various areas of development such as speech and language, managing challenging behaviors, toilet training, sleeping issues, feeding issues, sensory concerns, handwriting, attention and concentration difficulties, among others.
